Visit the DC Comedy Showcase
From February 7th-21st, DC visitors and locals can enjoy a night of comedy at the DC Comedy Showcase in the heart of downtown Washington. This event draws in some of the biggest names in comedy from HBO stars to comedians featured on Comedy Central. If you are traveling on a guided day tour or a hop-on hop-off bus tour of Washington, DC, this is the perfect way to end the evening at a low ticket price of $5.
Celebrate Mardi Gras
Washington, DC locals have come together to organize a colorful Mardi Gras celebration on the water this weekend. Head to Wharf Street for a New Orleans-inspired party followed by live music and fireworks off of the famous District Pier. The event will kick off at 4 pm on February 22nd and the festivities will last until about 7 pm, so if you plan on traveling to Mount Vernon or another location outside of the city for the day, make sure you’re back in time!
Party with a purpose
The Pearl Street Warehouse is one of Washington, DC’s hottest musical venues, hosting highly anticipated events every weekend. This Friday, visitors can enjoy their Party With a Purpose event where you can expect an open bar, great food, and live music. The event is $75 and all proceeds will go to the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation to support young baseball players in DC.
If you are looking for a taste of Washington nightlife without the high ticket price, The Pearl Street Warehouse is also hosting a Latin music-themed party this Saturday, which will begin at 7 pm and showcase several Latin bands. The ticket price for this event is just $13.
