As we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday, we invite you to join the Bluebirds for a special day of discovery at the Smithsonian Institute. Both museums on our itinerary offer a rich, immersive look at American culture. At the National Museum of American History, you’ll find everything from the Star-Spangled Banner to those nostalgic household items—like the metal ice cube trays—that define our personal histories. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a meaningful way to celebrate this milestone year, this trip offers the perfect balance of guided travel and independent exploration. You’ll have plenty of time for lunch at your leisure at either location before we head home in the comfort of our motorcoach. We will depart Manassas at 9:00 AM and Woodbridge at 9:45 AM. We will depart the museum at 4:00 PM and arrive back in the area approximately 5:30 PM.
