KENNEDY CENTER presents EUREKA DAY Washington, DC

KENNEDY CENTER presents EUREKA DAY Washington, DC

Following its triumphant run at London’s Old Vic, where it garnered critical acclaim for its incisive wit and topical relevance, Eureka Day has been hailed as “a cutting-edge comedy that dissects contemporary dilemmas with humor and heart.” Eureka Day is a prestigious, progressive elementary school nestled in the
idyllic surroundings of Berkeley, California. It’s a haven of inclusivity, where every opinion is valued. But when a sudden outbreak of mumps sends shockwaves through the community, the school’s idyllic veneer is shattered. The Board of Directors, who have always prided themselves on a policy of consensus and mutual respect, are thrust into a storm of conflicting viewpoints and rising tensions. As the number of mumps cases climbs, the school faces a critical dilemma: to stick to their liberal stance on vaccination, or impose mandates that could divide the community. Sound familiar? Come see how these folks handle it! A stop for lunch on your own will be made at the Pentagon Mall Food Court departing there at 12:45 p.m. for the Kennedy Center for the 2:00 p.m. matinee. We will depart Manassas at 9:45 a.m. and Woodbridge at 10:30 a.m. Return time is approximately 6 p.m.
