CELEBRATE NEW YEAR’S EVE 2025 Philadelphia, PA

We will depart Manassas at 6:15 a.m. and Woodbridge at 7:00 a.m. It is your last
chance to witness the dynamic and exciting production of Daniel at the Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA. This is a wonderful way to end the year viewing this spectacular biblical story! Following the production, we will make a fast food stop on our own as we continue to Philadelphia where we will check in the Holiday Inn Express Penn’s Landing in the downtown waterfront area. We are
scheduled for the early departure aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia. This cruise will include their signature dinner buffet with coffee, tea, or iced tea plus a DJ for music and dancing. There will be an “early count down” to 2025 with props, for photos, beads, hats, noise-makers, and masquerade-themed handouts. Returning to our hotel, you can claim one of 60 available seats (based on a first come” basis), in the hotel lobby with its ceiling-to-floor glass window overlooking the waterfront. This would be for the midnight fireworks display. For an even better view, you can walk a short distance to the Delaware River

Day 2:
Sleep in and begin your day with a hot buffet breakfast. We will depart the hotel for the Civic Center and the fantastic Mummer’s Fancy Brigade Finale. This is an elaborately produced and tightly choreographed story based on theatrical extravaganzas. The Fancy Division (or Fancies) impresses with painted faces, glamorous sequined outfits, feathery plumage, and colorful parasols. The String Bands gleefully play banjos, saxophones, glockenspiels, accordions, violins, and percussion instruments, performing original music and traditional tunes including “Oh, Dem Golden Slippers,” the unofficial Mummers anthem. You will never forget this performance and a fantastic way to begin the New Year. We will stop for lunch at the Cracker Barrel [$18gift card].
