NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY & MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART

Where can you go and view portraits of past presidents along with their wives, rap stars, and art of tomorrow, all in one location? You guessed it, our Nation’s attic: The Smithsonian Institute! These two museums are joined together and puts all of those things and more in one location. Located away from the crowds of the National Mall, you will find this treasure just a little quieter than the others. There is a wonderful café inside or dozens of restaurants within walking distance in the area to choose from if you plan to eat. Food will be on your own as the museum does not open until 11:00 AM. We will depart Manassas at 9:45 AM and from Woodbridge at 10:30 AM. We will depart the museum at 5:00 PM and return to the area around 6:00 PM
