THE BILTMORE ESTATE & GARDENS Asheville, NC

Experience America’s largest home and gardens as magnificent today as it was more than a century ago. This is a self-guided tour through three floors and the basement of the luxurious home of George and Edith Vanderbilt. Listen to the stories of the Vanderbilt family, their guests, and employees through displays of vintage clothing and accessories, art, furniture, and more. We depart Woodbridge at 6:30 AM and depart Manassas at 7:15 AM
Day 1 April 21:

As we motor through the great state of Virginia, we will make our first stop at a destination all its own: Virginia’s 1st Buc-ee’s! Whether you like bar-b-que, jerky, or pralines, this amazing roadside attraction has it all and the cleanest bathrooms ever!! We continue making the necessary stops until we reach Asheville, NC, arriving for dinner at Cracker Barrel ($25 gift card) before we check into our hotel, the Brookstone Lodge in Asheville Village.
Day 2 April 22:
After our full breakfast at the hotel, we depart
the hotel for our tour at the Biltmore. You will
receive an audio-guided tour to enjoy the
estate at your leisure. We have lunch just
outside the house. Then there is time to enjoy
the gardens. Dinner will be included at a local
restaurant.
Day 3 April 22:
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for a
day of sightseeing to explore Asheville. Lots to
see and do in the artsy town. We will see the
Grove Park Inn, ride a along the Blue Ridge
Parkway to the Folk Arts Center, and have
lunch on your own at the Grove Arcade. Our
experienced tour guide will make sure we see
the best Asheville has to offer! Dinner again,
included at a local restaurant.
Day 4 April 23:
After breakfast, we depart for home, making
the usual rest and lunch stops along the way.
Our estimated time back in the area should be
around 5:00 PM
