Whichever type of American History you enjoy, this will offer both, as these museums are right next to each other. We have tickets for the African American History and Culture Museum, which opened in 2016. It offers quite a cultural experience, including their “Sweet Home Café” for lunch. One block over is the American History Museum which offers the 1st Ladies ball gown collection, Judy Garland’s ruby red slippers, the original flag that flew over Ft. Mc Henry during the War of 1812, to name a few exhibits. They also have a cafeteria with a large selection of food. Lunch is on your own. We will depart Manassas at 8:45 a.m. and Manassas at 9:30 a.m. Return time is approximately 4:00 p.m.
