villages. As the boat makes its journey you may seethe native wildlife and view some of the most beautiful
scenery the Chesapeake Bay and the Tangier Sound
have to offer. Upon our arrival, we will enjoy a
delicious family style lunch featuring a deluxe crab
cake with clam fritters and ham at the Bayside Inn
Restaurant. For dessert, enjoy the Island’s
signature cake for dessert, Smith Island Cake. After
lunch enjoy a leisurely walk around the Island, or if
you prefer, rent a golf cart on your own made for two
or four. As you explore the Island’s many narrow
streets, enjoy friendly conversation with the Islanders
and learn more about the place they simply call,
“Home”. You can browse at the general store, explore
the Smith Island Center (ticket is not included)
where you can discover more about the way of life in
this extraordinary community, or simply stop by a gift
shop and pick up something to remember your trip
before we cruise back to the mainland. We will depart
Manassas at 8:00 a.m. and Woodbridge 8:45 a.m.
Return time is approximately 9:15 p.m. with rest stop
enroute.
