want to join us on this adventure. Get ready to pack
your jeans, dig out your old cowboy boots and get
ready for a grand time. The tour includes lodging for 3
nights, 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 3 dinners. We will
depart Manassas at 6:15 a.m. and Woodbridge at 7:00
a.m. Return time is approximately 8:30 p.m.

Itinerary

Day 1: Thursday
Relax and enjoy the passing scenery. In addition to rest
stops, a stop for lunch on your own will be made. Our
destination is Elkins, WV to board the Tagert Flyer for
a delightful train journey through the area while
enjoying lunch. On our return we will proceed to the
Hampton Inn to check in, relax and prepare for an
evening of entertainment with dinner and show at the
Gandy Dancers Playhouse.
Day 2: Friday
Following breakfast, we travel to Chillicothe, OH for a
one-of-a-kind experience. First, we are making a quick
“buy & return to the bus” and eat as we make our way
to the Adena Mansion to visit home and garden. We
are then off to Hopewell Mounds the ancient burial
grounds of Native Indians. We will have a porch talk
before being turned loose to walk around and take your
pictures. We will then go by the Hampton Inn to drop
your luggage and pickup your room key. This evening,
we are having an early dinner at the Longhorn
Steakhouse ($25 gift card – leave tip on table). This
evening you will be immersed in history as we witness

the spectacular musical – Tecumseh! Enjoy a Behind-
the-Scenes tour of the theatre complex led by actual

cast members. This performance which has been
labeled as one of the most mesmerizing dramas in the
nation enables you to witness the epic life story of the
legendary Shawnee leader as he struggles to defend
his sacred homelands in the Ohio country in the late

1700’s. Sit beneath the stars as the spectacle
surrounds you with a herd of galloping horses, live
military cannon in action & the most dazzling battle
sequences offered on the American stage. You will not
soon forget this experience.
Day 3: Saturday, July 20
Enjoy breakfast and then we depart for Dickinson’s
Cattle Ranch, a working Texas Longhorn Cattle
Ranch. Our visit includes a narrated tour of the ranch
which includes close up viewing of BueLingo, Texas
Longhorn & African Watusi Cattle herds while on one of
the rugged ranch buses. Make sure that you bring
your camera to document this once-in-a-lifetime “Wild
West” adventure. Lunch is included at the ranch. [If
you would like farm beef burgers to bring home to enjoy
at your own cookout, they are available at the ranch.]
On the way home we will make a stop for dinner at a
Cracker Barrel ($20 gift card)
