NATIONAL AIR SPACE MUSEUM Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center
The National Air and Space Museum expands with a
monumental annex, located near Washington Dulles
International Airport. Visitors can walk among artifacts
on the floor and view hanging aircraft from elevated
walkways (skyways). Many engines, rockets, satellites,
helicopters, airliners, ultra-lights, and experimental
flying machines are all on display for the first time in a
museum setting. See the space shuttle
“Enterprise,” the B-29 super fortress “Enola
Gay,” the Concorde, and so much more housed in an
aviation hangar that’s three football fields long and ten
stories high. Sit back and relax at the Airbus IMAX
Theatre with its new 86-foot-wide screen (admission
to IMAX is not included). We will spend 5 hours
onsite. You will find a Shake Shack fast food
restaurant on site for lunch on your own. Note: There
is walking required on this tour! Please make sure
to wear comfortable walking shoes.
We will depart
Woodbridge at 9:15 a.m. and Manassas at 10:00 a.m.
Return time is approximately 4:15 p.m.
