HILLWOOD ESTATE & MUSEUM & TEA Too Washington DC

HILLWOOD ESTATE & MUSEUM & TEA Too Washington DC

Tucked away in a lush and verdant oasis is a

25-acre estate that was the last home of Post

Cereal’s Heiress, Marjorie Merriweather

Post. Hillwood Estate offers an expansive 13-

acres of gardens and an exceptional art

collection. Explore thousands of objects from

Hillwood’s collection of Russian imperial art,

and French 18 and 19-century decorative art.

Enjoy the opulence of a bygone era because of

the generosity of Mrs. Post’s gift of her estate

as a living museum for the public. Also, be sure

to drop by the exquisite gift shop. On arrival at

the Visitor Center, we will have free time for a

self-guided tour of the home, which is now a

museum. Our Tea is scheduled for 11:30 with

plenty of free time afterward to enjoy more of

the incredible treasures collected from around

the world. We will depart Manassas at 8:30 AM.

and Woodbridge at 9:15 AM. Return time is

approximately 4 PM.
